Our Story...
Flash and Gordon
Our journey began when we rescued two guinea pig boys called Flash and Gordon from a school. They were in poor condition and Gordon was critically ill, needing surgery. We were plunged into a world of recovery food, syringe feeding and 24-hour nursing. Flash and Gordon lived out the rest of their lives in comfort and our passion for guinea pigs was born. We have now fostered, rehabilitated and adopted many piggies with a range of conditions and needs, and we currently have a lovely herd of eight living permanently at Woodland View.

Cat (the owner of Woodland View) studied animal behaviour and physiology at Oxford University and has worked with animals in different ways (including volunteering for a local small animal rescue) for nearly 20 years. She regularly attends CPD events to keep her knowledge of guinea pig health and welfare up to date (such as specialist webinars by Webinar Vet) and is experienced in nursing guinea pigs with a variety of disabilities and medical conditions. Cat works from home so is able to provide round the clock care for your guinea pig.
